Kristi L. Richards, J.D.

Kristi L. Richards concentrates her practice in the areas of estate and trust planning, business planning, and trust and estate administration. Kristi’s estate planning experience includes preparing wills, trusts, and forming family limited liability companies. She enjoys taking a client’s wishes and translating them into a cohesive estate plan. In addition, Kristi assists clients with the issues that arise in transitioning assets after the death of a family member or friend through trust and estate administrations processes.

She graduated (summa cum laude) from Buena Vista University, then received her Juris Doctor from the University of Washington School of Law in 2014. She is currently earning her Master of Laws in Taxation at the University of Washington School of Law.

Kristi is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the Pierce and King County Bar Associations, and Washington Women Lawyers.

When not practicing law, Kristi enjoys reading for entertainment and volunteering with the University of Washington Federal Tax clinic, where she assists low income taxpayers in controversies with the IRS.
