Timothy M. Friedrichsen is the founder and a principal of Amicus Law Group, PC.  He represents closely-held businesses and business owners, as well as high net-worth individuals, emphasizing business formation and transactions, real estate, tax and estate planning.  Tim also represents tax-exempt organizations, private and public charitable foundations and charitable individuals in connection with planned giving and charitable entity formation and operation.

A graduate of the University of Iowa College of Law, he has been in private practice since 1985, beginning his career as a tax advisor at the public accounting firm of Deloitte and Touche.  He opened his own practice in 1994 and founded Amicus Law Group in 2001.  Tim is admitted to practice in the states of Washington and Oregon.

He has served as President of the Board of Trustees for Childhaven, a Seattle-based organization dedicated to the protection of children who are the victims of child abuse and neglect.  He is also a member of the planned giving advisory board of Washington State University Foundation and past member of the planned advisory boards of The Nature Conservancy of Washington and of Whitworth College.
